The Villa
Shelsea is usually cool and airy with accommodation all on one level. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A well-equipped kitchen and open-plan, formal dining area lead to living room and den with original jalousie windows. The kitchen and living areas also offer access to the covered, wooden patio deck for every day dining and relaxation.
Luscious tropical gardens surround the house. The plot exceeds 11,000 square feet and there is plenty of space for privacy and relaxation. Try out the hammock under the mango tree!
The gardens will delight anyone interested in Caribbean trees, plants and flowers and can be illuminated at night creating a magical scene to accompany the evensong of the whistling frogs and crickets.
Barbados is warm and sunny all year round. Daytime temperatures range from 75 to 85 degrees and the nights are slightly cooler. The prevailing NE trade winds blow steadily so it's never unbearably hot. Hurricanes usually avoid Barbados. They arise off the African coast and head to the Caribbean arriving about 100 miles north of the island. The dry season tends to last from January to June but we think Barbados is a great place to holiday anytime of year. There's a local saying that when it rains on Barbados it rains liquid sunshine.

Master Bedroom
with super-king sized bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom.
Second Bedroom
with 2 single beds easily converted to another super-king sized bed, ceiling fan and air-conditioning.
Third Bedroom
with Queen sized bed or office/study with generous workspace, air conditioning, ceiling fan, UK electrics, telephone line (local calls only) and wireless broadband.
The well equipped kitchen offers gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer and various small appliances including blender, George Foreman grill, toaster
There's also a TV, DVD (multi-format) and high end Hi Fi system CD/Tuner with i-pod connection, in the living areas.
